If your A Level results were not quite what you needed or hoped for, you may wish to try and retake them. By now, you will hopefully have discussed your options on retaking A Levels with your tutors (see “I failed my A levels” – What you need to do now). With a little luck, you can retake them at your previous school/college.
If this was not an available option, you may have had to enrol at a different educational establishment.
Either way, you will want to make sure you do better ‘second time around’. Extra tutoring can help you achieve this goal.
Tutoring for Retaking A Levels
Getting low A Level results can be extremely demoralising, demotivating and confidence-destroying. What’s more, it’s not uncommon for grades to slip even further when retaking A levels. You may feel embarrassed or frustrated that you have to retake a subject that might not be your favourite and the support to improve – even by just a few marks – is not there.
When the results come in and are even worse the second time around, your confidence can take a real dent. Getting extra tutoring – in particular for subjects you previously struggled with – will not only help you get better grades, it will also help to inspire and motivate you, rebuild your confidence and renew your joy in learning.
Retaking A Levels with Genie Tutors
Appreciating the immeasurable impact tutoring can have on your education, as well as your future life, we will first of all assess your specific educational requirements. Having done this, we will select the most suitable learning/teaching materials to inspire and encourage you and devise a plan tailored to provide you with motivating challenges and achievable goals.
Implementing the Plan
By implementing this plan, we will ensure you get the most out of your tutoring sessions and achieve the goals you are aiming for (and more) quickly, confidently and in the most enjoyable manner possible. Regular feedback on how you are doing will both act as an encouragement and enable us and you to highlight any areas where additional improvement may be required.
By the time you resit your exams, you will have both the confidence and knowledge you need to get the grades you desire.
